Discuss: Tesla Removes Disney+ App From Vehicles - Here's How to Get It Back

Thanks or posting the process to get it back!

Discuss: First Look at Tesla's New High Fidelity Park Assist [Video]

Looks nifty. Hope it works on my 2020 Y, I’m concerned about the ‘older’ computer I have.

Discuss: 2023.44.30 (OTA Recall and FSD Beta 11.4.9) Release Notes

Seems like that blind spot red shading when the camera is up is something that Tesla could add to the visualizations even when the camera isn't up. When a car is next to you and behind far enough hat it isn't displayed, just put some similar horizontal red shading next to / behind my car's...

Discuss: Tesla Unveils Optimus Robot Gen 2: Tesla-Designed Fingertip Sensors, Actuators and Ten Other Improvements [Video]

This is a project to watch. Seems like a lot of work to get out of using workers that might want to unionize and can make mistakes. At the very least I'm looking forward to seeing one of these make me breakfast. Poach & toast.

Discuss: Tesla Holiday Update Wish List Part 2: Evolving Autonomy

Personally I'd love to see auto park be quicker and more accurate to the point where it scares me. Because right now it is timid enough that it's annoying and I can do better myself using all three cameras. I really hope the holiday update is v12, or at least something beyond the 11.4.x builds...

Discuss: Tesla's Dojo Project Faces Leadership Shakeup

I'm not sure what to make of this. It sounds like it could be BAD in that DOJO may not be what it could be in the near future. Then again, maybe it is GOOD in that someone who is a better fit is coming in and gonna get things done? With FSD being as slow as it has been I'm concerned this is not...

Discuss: 2023.44.25 Official Tesla Release Notes

That's a good point about blind spot monitoring. I still don't have any blind spots with properly adjusted mirrors in my Y (unless you're a corvette under my rear bumper, then I can't see your short car I guess). Something subtle so it's not TOO distracting but easily noticeable would be good...

Discuss: Tesla Faces Lawsuit for Elevated Insurance Premiums Linked To Forward Collision Warnings

Stuff like this will just have to be worked out, not sure the courts are the best place but there it is.I don't have Tesla insurance, but this has me wondering- what about when the car is on AP or FSDb and you gun the accelerator because it pulled out in front of a car doing 60MPH and probably...

Discuss: Tesla's Rebecca Tinucci Recognized in Time's Top 100 Most Influential Climate Leaders

Thanks for this one! Always interesting to see who else is running things at Tesla. I wonder how many requests for supercharger locations she gets every day. I hadn't realized Tesla would gain access to fed $ as other EV manufacturers adopt the NACS, brilliant and a win/win for everyone!

Discuss: Tesla Cybertruck Delivery Event: How to Watch and When It Happens in Your Local Time

Anyone want to make bets on trim levels / range / price? I have no idea, but I hope 300 EPA rated on the low end, 550 on the high end. I'm sure the $70k price I reserved is not gonna happen for the quad motor, but I bet they'll honor the $7k FSD. I'll guess $90k for the quad motor and hope for...

Discuss: New Photo Reveals the Cybertruck’s Range To Be About 290 Miles

I suppose when compared to the low end of the R1T and F150 ranges that isn’t bad, particularly if it has an LFP battery or whatever chemistry it is that likes to be charged to 100%. Still, *everything* kills range - heat, cold, loads, trailers. So particularly for a truck that range number is...

Discuss: Tesla's New Wrap Service: First Photos and Impressions

Hmm. That seems like good stuff but I have to wonder- why pay for PPF if you are wrapping a CT? I suppose it would last longer / better than non-PPF wrap but you're certainly not trying to protect what is underneath. Unless the wrap stops bullets too :) .

Discuss: Tesla's Supercharger Congestion Fees: More Details in Updated Owner's Manual

True that! I'm sure that kind of info doesn't take up a lot of resources and will show up for everyone back to 2012 Ss. Worst case though- it will be on your phone's Tesla app :) .

Discuss: Tesla's Supercharger Congestion Fees: More Details in Updated Owner's Manual

Thanks for the clarification on this. This is good to know. I suppose these policies can change as they bump up against reality too but all that makes sense to me.

Discuss: Tesla Attempts To Shorten Cybertruck Wait List; Will Prevent Resales for One Year

Yes, Ferrari does that according to what I have seen in articles. That said, Tesla is NOT doing it now. Probably got a bunch of cancellations when people thought they couldn't flip the truck for $$. I have a CT reservation but at this point I just can't get one :( . Still, I'm not gonna get...

Discuss: Tesla FSD Beta 11.4.8 Release Notes Leaked, Faster Decision Making, Improved Parking Sensors and More

Well, that's SOMETHING on FSDb! It has been a while, those changes are welcome for sure. For me the lane selection part is the most annoying / wonky part of the current FSDb. That is - two lanes going in the same direction, sometimes the car will change lanes to 'follow route' but there is no...
