True, there is a LOT more to the 'charging experience' than just the plug.

I hadn’t thought about it, but the companies that build the charging infrastructure are an important piece of this puzzle. According to Electrek quite a few charger companies are now on board.

I’m really happy to see this happening. That said- I have to admit I haven’t used a CCS charger yet. My hope is that the adaption of the connector also comes with the PLACEMENT of the charge port on the driver’s rear corner. That’s needed to be part of the standard IMO. So who’s next?

Contact Tesla directly with proof of ownership. Probably best to stop by a service center, but in the 'old' days you could do all that through your tesla account online by uploading docs. in the mean time keep pestering the previous owner :) .

First time I've seen this and I've been paying attention. At least I thought I had been paying attention. Maybe that second 11.3.6 one has more to do with deploying to cars outside the US? Who knows... We just got 11.4.2 and it isn't any big change from 11.3.6 from what little we've seen. Still...

Hope this goes wider soon, it is a little confusing with the 11.3.6 release but based on 2023. Confusing to me at least :) .

Are employees allowed to upload videos? I've only seen a couple videos labelled 11.4, neither showed a build # on the screen so who knows if those were legit.

I'm sure it is all internal testing at this point. Trying to interpret silence is impossible and prolly reveals our own bias which is why I was hoping that someone with direct knowledge would drop a hint. Some will say it's a big update and they're working hard on it, others will say they can't...

Seems like two weeks is a long time for no news on the 11.4 front. Not even a peep, I don’t see any videos purporting to be of 11.4. Does no news = good news? The 11.3.6 build is pretty good but there are still some minor nagging issues with lane selection, unnecessary / confusing turn signals...

I would think so. As far as the rear camera staying on- you can do that now if I’m understanding what you wan— The rear displayed on the screen as you’re driving. New browser will be nice if it is quicker, or maybe that’s a cell signal strength issue for me. Seems pretty slow In general though.
