Discuss: Tesla Addresses Autopilot Recall in Europe & Improves Automatic Emergency Braking in Update 2024.26.8

Talk tabout improvements to Vision... I wished we could have screen recording, when on a simple 1-lane opposite-direction road, all of a sudden I see my Blue Tesla beeping and screaming, a truck sidewise (90 degrees) on the road... just on the screen. It took me almost a second to figure out...

FSD Won't drive over speed limit

"You can hit the accelerator and goose it." - don't tell me. I keep doing it at MAX speed just to keep the pace with other cars when Tesla gets "lazy" and at least once per long ride get the infamous red wheel by exceeding 140km/h... as if it was VNE on an aircraft.

Well renting a car and believing you could also have your FSD seems a bit naive (not only because your car might be in use), as they barely / rarely allow FSD transfer between purchases. All the rest makes sense, it's an extension of user profiles. Wonder how a Tesla rental works: do they give...

FSD Won't drive over speed limit

Sometimes also 12.3.6 does it on city streets. Very annoying, especially when the limit is very low and there's no reason.

Discuss: Tesla's Model Y Juniper Refresh: What to Expect & Wishlist

Already happening. I hate all that collateral waste production, but honestly. this time it's justified. Companies should normally incorporate these side innovations, in this case it would be rather odd, as the deficiency they are trying to solve is... caused by Tesla.

    Wunsch Tempomat Geschwindigkeitsregelung

@Alien bist du sicher? Früher war das so, wenn man jetzt den Grenzwert berührt, kommt nur noch die akustische Warnung. Früher war es besser.

Discuss: Tesla's Model Y Juniper Refresh: What to Expect & Wishlist

It takes a couple of weeks to get used to. Much more the problematic the removal of the right stalk. Remember when you were parking blindly? Well, now not only you have to look at the screen for sliding the arrows, but must also check twice if you got it right, or if you didn't resist the...

Discuss: Tesla Launches Karaoke Mic (CaraokeMic) in North America

Oh, eventually another useless feature, instead of fixing the problems for which the likes of Xiaomi will probably overtake Tesla.

Discuss: The Ultimate Guide to Tesla Shortcuts and Tips You May Not Know

Actually - can someone tell Tesla that disabling auto-headlights upon flashing isn't a shortcut? It can only be labelled as a sever BUG, otherwise an intentional wrong action by an idiot developer or - worse - product manager.

    Yoke wearing out

Really, 3 months I have it and I still flash cars instead of putting the right arrow. With the side effect that if it's night, that ALSO disables the automatic headlights (they call it "shortcut". It's pure "genius", I wonder why they didn't require also an OTP to type on the keyboard with...

Discuss: The Ultimate Guide to Tesla Shortcuts and Tips You May Not Know

There are places where I get it as soon as I get in the car, because of the 30km/h limit. Beep, I disable it, it goes to 50km/h, it goes back to 30km/h and it enables by itself.

Discuss: The Ultimate Guide to Tesla Shortcuts and Tips You May Not Know

Thanks, and the only question I have is: why changing something that works, for something that's actually useless? Every single time I enter the car I just disable the audible alert, as most of the times it gets me at 30km/h while the limit is 50km/h.

Is it still true? Used to be, now if I tap the speed limit sign I only toggle the annoying speed limit audible alert

Discuss: Tesla Launches New Vision-based Autopark in Europe - Requirements and Features

Exactly. Totally unreliable. Guess why the distance from the previous is increased for vision vs radar. I did the opposite, vision didn't detect a black wall in a diagonal parking. Touched it slowly and without damage, but touched it.

    Yoke wearing out

Looks like the Highland then. Still blinders on the center/left next to the right arrow or something more reachable by hands smaller than Jimi Hendrix'?

Discuss: Tesla's Energy Boost: Unlock More Range on Model Y RWD

They should do something also about the LR, reducing the thrust / disengaging the front engine on command, further reducing the (unnecessary, anyway) acceleration, when longer range is required.

Discuss: Tesla Launches New Vision-based Autopark in Europe - Requirements and Features

It seems so, from a regulatory perspective at least. Think it like it has been portrayed about the "why lidar?" article, where Tesla apparently used it to provide Vision with a "ground truth" to feed the ML/AI algorithm. Expand it further, as if the regulator didn't allow Vision to be the only...

Discuss: Tesla Launches New Vision-based Autopark in Europe - Requirements and Features

Looks like there's no autopark nowhere in the EU without USS, also by looking at all localized versions of the Tesla website. Perhaps the news should be rectified?
