Discuss: All the New Features for the Tesla App in Apple iOS 18

Oh, another release for iOS... Android still hasn't got UWB support.

Actually never used messages. Voice control is quite behind in general. Not that I use it much, but I would expect more from Tesla. Last time I asked to raise the volume it blew the speakers to 100.

Discuss: Tesla Improves Blind Spot Indicator By Warning You of Obstacles

This is nonsense. They have a great feature and they confine it only to Highlands and CT, just because of the missing leds on other models? Just play a f*** audio alert!

    Rear-end trend?

The bumper protrudes more than the trunk, it would have been hit before and be showing a much deeper dent.

    Rear-end trend?

There aren't other cars in similar conditions. I would agree if 2 in 2 weren't Teslas with similar damages, and it's not that there are as many Teslas in Milan as there are in San Francisco. There might be 20 teslas in total in my neighborhood, out of... thousands. If I see 2 after a month being...

    Rear-end trend?

Phantom braking doesn't occur as often as before, although it still does. More often than not, because the car AI senses a parking car moving, when clearly it's not.

Where are these software updates . Stats are very low.

My understanding is that the stats are related to a monitored "fleet" of "privileged" adopters (employees etc.), they are not representative of the actual distribution. I'm on 2024.26.8 (in Europe, won't see 12.5.x FSD until next year, probably) and 2024.32 might be coming next (unless a...

    Rear-end trend?

I spotted two rear-ended Teslas in front of my house, few meters apart. Just a coincidence or an emerging safety trend? Months ago, I was reading about people complaining that regen braking often delays the onset of brake lights. I started looking at my screen more often, to see when brake...

Discuss: 2024.32.3 Official Tesla Release Notes

I don't mean they are intentionally de-prioritizing, just that having the choice, they irrationally let the niche side prevail over diffusion. The Google Play approval process could justify delays of weeks, up to a month, not half a year. Sure, would be nice knowing how many Tesla users have...

    Software update wishlist

Already on my wishlist 🙃 actually, what I would like now is the car avoiding to open the trunk if the distance from a wall is not judged enough. In the garage, just few days ago, they opened the trunk to catch the charger, and they didn't realize it was too close. The car should know it and act...

Thank you, leaving anything visible in a parked car is never a smart idea. I'd rather short-circuit the seat weight sensor and probably latching the seatbelts would achieve the same. I just set them on automatically as soon as I remember how overengineered is the aircon system on such stupid...

Back screen lock It's all wrong as it is now. There should be no complete lock at all, backseat passengers must have access to their airflow control. Happened in "green" taxies, the passenger shall be able to override any madness from the driver. Locking should be only for entertainment And it...

Parental Control for back screen I understand that the driver should not be distracted by the rear screen duplication of the front screen when a video is playing, but at least it should be visible which app is bring played (e.g. YouTube is forbidden for our son) and the content title.

Discuss: 2024.32.3 Official Tesla Release Notes

It IS intentional, months passed and the reason is the lack of UWB implementation on Android. They just prioritize iOS over Android. If Elon had an Android, it would be the other way round. Anyway, I didn't elaborate well. The auto-frunk opening is almost useless, since it doesn't do what the...

Discuss: 2024.32.3 Official Tesla Release Notes

Regarding automatic frunk opening, this might have got out of hand. Basically you cannot stay in front of the car or on the back, otherwise it will go "Transformer" like Bumblebee. At least it should recognize if you don't have free hands with cameras. Plus, the focus on iphone is just idiotic.

Discuss: Tesla's Android App Lags Behind Apple's: The Missing Features

This is one of the most striking contradictions. More than the Cybertruck, lack of front camera, removal of stalks and all that madness combined. Prioritizing a niche (iOS) over market domination (Android) can only be the consequence of "but Elon has an iPhone".

Schedule a charge target Would be great being able to schedule a charge: on this day, by this time, I need this percentage (and possibly also conditioning). Not just start and end, literally let the car predict the ETA and act according.

Discuss: The Most Requested Tesla Features

Reminds me of something, was about time you did it @Not a Tesla App :) Currently the 3 most annoying annoyances to me are: - driving at night, you flash a car for any reason, you lose the "marvel" (seen better on our previous E-class convertible, but ok...) of matrix automatic beams, and...
