    Discuss: 2024.20.1 Release Notes (Updated)

Still, how can be matrix different from country to country? I mean, besides parts of the world "driving on the wrong side" (joking), how can it be so different? Anyway, for once EU came first. We're always the last market for Tesla. I'm still on .14, curious to see what I will get. I bet on...

Manual speed limit for autopilot / disengage Not sure if it's about the latest version, but it has become even more annoying than before. 2 issues, connected: - a car doesn't keep the lane, you are already passed, autopilot brakes instead of keeping the speed (or even accelerating, which is...

Because it doesn't support the latest Bluetooth. Same reason why my Android can't (yet) and my wife's iPhone can. They should allow retrofitting, for older models.

That's a very good one, and it's what most other manufacturers do with modern power steering. Makes sense especially on the Highland, which has become a lot lighter in the wheel, almost disturbingly. I now keep it heavy at all times, while on the previous I kept it mid/standard.

    Tesla update 2024.20.1 in UK

Thanks this is what I don't get. It might be that Highlands already came "from the factory" with this feature, hence the unavailability might have been misinterpreted base on those, while previous models obviously needed to be upgraded, enabling matrix first, followed by cornering lights...

    Tesla update 2024.20.1 in UK

    Which car model?

Mine always. Trouble is when she's asking technical questions (e.g. ATPL). I always reply like: since you need to pass the exams, do you want the husband answer or the real one?

Except her phone is on the right:)

    Software update wishlist

This is an insane limitation, no reason why they can't allow multiple phones to be connected at the same time for calls. My wife has an iPhone and I have an Android, and for some reason even if she's passenger and her phone is on the right, she's always recognized as the driver.

    Software update wishlist

Similar to the one I already posted, but mine is more about recognizing the driver for profile selection, as often if you are in 2 drivers with phone keys it might pick the wrong one.

About headlights, yesterday I had my first "night drive" on the Highland for 3 hours. Have to say, Matrix pretty good, except, if you flash cars, auto-blinders gets disabled, unless (funny) you flash again OR go through the pain of opening the light panel, DISABLE auto-blinders and re-enable...

Have no idea. But sure there's a reason why only Tesla cannot deliver on this "compliance" matter. Probably they are too much US focused. I give you an example: I noticed that the "green light chime" is gone. I signaled to Tesla that their red/green light recognition is flawed, because it's...

You might. The "other" update only enabled matrix for other models than the Highland.

    Discuss: 2024.20.1 Release Notes (Updated)

Indeed they are. And so are features like autopark, are present with all competitor brands. The complication is only on tesla's side, most probably for being stubborn about the use of vision instead of other more reliable means of determining distance from "frangible" objects such as people...

Portable wifi hotspot for Software Updates to my M3 Highland

But you don't need it always on, like we get daily updates or like there is another reason to get a faster connection than the car's for anything that is not software updates... even 5g would be limited probably by the onboard wifi hardware. enough if you put it in when you get the occasional...

    Discuss: 2024.20.1 Release Notes (Updated)

Same for Italy. Like we don't have curves? Cannot be compliance-related, come on. Unless, like autopilot... it's camera-based and not steering-wheel based, then...

    Hard Acceleration

Disagree partially. One thing is adjusting to driving behavior... while on cruise, another is, quoting an earlier post, "looking like a jerk". That is, if the car has to hit brakes when stuck in traffic after a full stop, there's no other driving style matching the description.

Portable wifi hotspot for Software Updates to my M3 Highland

I tried once by leaving a hotspot in the central armrest, it powered off. Perhaps there are other always-on ports, but that one sure wasn't. Before I moved it to a wifi covered garage, I used to drive it on phone hotspot when there was a software update. Or else I would leave the hotspot inside...

    Hard Acceleration

Seems 2024.14 fixed it. Before all my M3s seemed like rookies fresh after driving scool, having troubles the friction of a manual-gearbox car. Now, been in a highway queue, it all seemed very smooth.
