Improve ('fix') turn signal indicator. Is it just me, or is it more difficult than it needs to be to see which direction the arrow is pointing?

When the turn signal view box comes up with the little green arrow next to it, I can't easily tell if it's pointing left or right. The camera view window doesn't help. I would like to see the left indicator come up on the left side of the camera view, and the right indicator come up on the right side. Or at least have the indicators come up in different spots on the screen.

With FSD choosing lanes for me, there have been many times I wondered at times if I was changing from the middle lane to the left or to the right. At least they made the arrow a little bigger, but putting the arrows in different locations (left or right) would make it obvious at a glance.

Yes and actually they could also let the arrows blink (if color can't change due to hardware limitations) on the steering wheel.

In addition, or alternatively, it would be great if the steering wheel arrows (Highland, etc) would at least blink, or even alternate amber color if hardware supported it.

Bring hands-free lift gate to the cars without UWB.

I used hands-free lift gate a lot with my MSP, but I forgot the MY didn’t have UWB to support the feature. Maybe if the phone key is close by, the rear camera can begin watching to see if someone is behind the car? I don’t know; I just miss it it was super convenient for me personally

This would be a killer, but I guess it's a security feature. You wouldn't want the trunk/frunk opening if you were inside the car or just nearby and someone else is in the front/rear cameras.
Ironically, I experience the opposite, and I hate it: without UWB, whenever I close the trunk, and the car was open, it closes immediately, even though I still wanted to enter. That wouldn't be an issue, if it didn't play my Airbus "autopilot disconnect" chime unnecessarily!

You’re very right K.I.T.T., I guess that’s the whole point of why they use UWB because without it, you cannot determine where the phone is in relation to the car and so that does become a security concern. But it’s nice to dream. maybe I should’ve waited for the model Y “Juniper” to take delivery.

Activating Summon Standby from the App or a timer for when it should activate.

I understand that some people don’t use summon as a feature often (other than for a once in a while party trick) however, I use summon quite frequently, sometimes even five or six times a day, depending on the number of errands I have to run. But when I’m going somewhere for a few hours, I would like to be able to deactivate standby from the app or set a time for it to activate automatically. Obviously there are much more important things the get to but just a convenience for those who use standby!

Private Phone Call Mode

In the MS and the MX, they have microphones (and I think speakers?) in the seats that allow active noise cancellation to the driver and, I think, the passenger. I saw a feature the other day. I think it was an Infiniti. But the driver was on the phone, only the driver could hear it because of the speakers in the seats. I’m not 100% sure, but I believe the people in the car were also listening to music simultaneously while the driver was on the phone. I thought this would be an incredibly cool feature. (I never really paid any attention to this feature so I’m not sure if the speakers are in the seats themselves, obviously if the speakers are not in the seats this would have to be implemented but a cool feature nonetheless)

Well, not much to "dream" about, the value of Juniper (now that we know what to expect, having seen the gigantic gap after Highland started to ship) is certainly somewhere else than just UWB and these incomplete features built around it.

Although it was on my top ten wishlist, this just doesn't work as I expected. My wife's has iOS and on the Highland we barely used it once last summer.

The missing link is the opposite, and it could be released tomorrow to all vehicles, not requiring any UWB complication: closing the trunk automatically when hands are full. That could be achieved by simply double-tapping the trunk button and allowing a preset/configurable countdown for closure. Guess now we all do it by trying our luck, pressing, hoping it doesn't react too quick while we catch the last bag with the other hand, not to block the movement.

The real value of a power trunk is automated closure, not automated opening. That was achieved by springs and pneumatic action even before power trunks were a thing.

Like I said for me it was super convenient (I do not think I touched the trunk button more than 10 times for the 8 months I had it), and I do not find “automatic closure“ usefully at all. But just like anything we all have our preferences.

Parking Time
I would love a Parking Time feature on the iPhone App that displays the amount of since you parked the car.
This time should only appear when you do not park at Home or Work.
In this way, if you have parked at a parking meter, you will know how long you have been there.

Show elevation above sea level in feet or meters.
My previous 2002 Audi A4 had that feature.

Sport Driving Sound

I recently drove a friend’s Porsche Taycan, and it had a “sport sound” while driving for the inside and the outside of the car. Instead of directly sounding like an ICE, it sounded like the RPMs of an electric motor except louder. I absolutely loved it, and it made driving feel so much more fun and futuristic. I do not like the sound of an ICE vehicle just because you always have to hear it; with this, you can turn it off when you don’t want to hear it (or if you hate driving sounds in general and prefer silence).

Quick headlight control without stalks
Plain and simple: if auto decided that no headlights are required, and you disagreed, you would have to open the Controls settings, not having the "stalk shortcut".
We need a headlight shortcut icon to stay always on, no matter what.

Now, if lights were on, you could simply tap onto the lights icon. But they are not, it's foggy and you need them on real quick. Yes, if it seems another hole in their logic, it is.

This might not find owners of stalks-equipped vehicles interested, but there's one of those simple things that drives me crazy.

Similarly as auto-blinders being "frozen" by manual use of blinders, without any logic. Frozen but not deactivated, because if you wanted to reset them you should disable and re-enable them If it sounds silly, it's because it is.

Manually tell the car to sleep

Sometimes when I just want to grab something from the car but, I don’t want to wake up the car, sometimes it even a little game, “how long can I keep the car asleep?” But I would like it if you could tell the car to fall asleep immediately from the app.
