Directional Indicators Should Override Hazard Lights
As with other premium carmakers (BMW, Audi, Mercedes), directional indicators should override hazard lights - not the other way around. The most recent input should take priority.
For example, when signaling a queue on the highway with hazards, a driver should be able to indicate a lane change instantly without first disabling the hazard lights.
Currently, Tesla forces drivers to turn off hazards first, like many lower-tier brands. Worse, the hazard light button is in a hard-to-reach, non-intuitive position - especially on the new touch panels (Highland) - with no haptic feedback.
