Hey guys! I've got 2023 model Y with global TCU modem. So after update 2024.26.7 my car started to lose LTE signal, it tries to connect, stayed connected for 1-2 minutes, and then disconnects. I thought it was some software bug, so i've waited for new software 2024.32 and installed it. But things got even worse, cell connection just stopped working from that moment.

Im in Europe, so im using external simcard. I changed it to new one, and even changed my TCU (Modem) to new one, but still no connection to cell.

In service mode everything is okay, exept cell connection. And if i try to test my modem it tries to connect to cell, and then gets error.

Any advise?

Car is out of warranty by the way, so i cannot use tesla service.

Just in case, which 2024.32 specifically?

2024.32.3.x?
2024.32.4.x?
2024.32.5.x?

The other thread reports the issue on 2024.32.3, without specifying the subversion.

Ok no subversion? Just in case we get it and at least we can avoid it.

Also, would be very smart reading also which model and year is affected along with "same issue", "same here".
I still have an issue on 2024.32.3, Model Y 2022

No updates yet.

The same and not going to sleep anymore. Draining battery 10% per day
Same connection problem and same battery problem. The vehicle keeps trying to connect, which is why the battery is draining. I removed the SIM card and the vehicle no longer stays awake. Wait for a new update that fixes the problem.

Would be great to hear from Ryzen owners who went from 2024.26 straight to 2024.32.6., to understand if LTE will be still impaired, regardless of the fact that the last version doesn't seem to fix 2024.32.3

So wonderful, now 2024.38 popped up, until we have confirmation we should wait for it, hoping NOT to get updates to 2024.32...

Anyway, when LTE is fried, do you lose completely remote access from the app or is there sort of a dual connectivity, so at least basic remote connectivity would be provided TO the car?

You need to be in Bluetooth range, near the car obviously. Without lte You can do basic things, like open doors/hood. But if the car is connected to your wifi spot, it works just fine. Strangely i even can call to my car with my cellphone, its got beeps like it has connection to the cell..
