Strange, this arrangement in Shortcuts App was already present on my iPhone before the update to 4.38.5

Anyone else do this- I created shortcuts to open the trunk, close the trunk, vent my windows, etc. When I use Siri on my Apple watch to open or close the trunk very often it will open or close half way. Then I get a 'timed out' message of some kind. I'm usually doing this via my watch so I don't have to dig my phone out of my pocket. Doing the same voice command through Siri on my phone works every time. No error messages. To add to the mystery sometimes the trunk open or close does work fine from the watch but I still get the timed out warning. Just strange.

What’s funny is for me instead of closing halfway or opening halfway, my watch wouldn’t complete the command at all. I would get the timed out message before any command was initiated. Super weird.

Huh. In case this helps- I created a shortcut 'trunk please' and selected my Y's trunk (we have 2 Teslas so I had to pick which one and which action- open or close). It seems that if you try to use 'trunk' or 'Tesla' in a shortcut it doesn't work.
Sadly I forget all the other steps of getting the shortcut on the watch working. I don't THINK there is anything special to do there but who knows. Can't wait for an actual Tesla watch app .
