Discuss: Tesla Releases 'Actually Smart Summon' in Europe With Restrictions In Update 2024.44.3

Please define "Europe". Is Italy still in Europe? :D

Discuss: Tesla Adds Acceleration Boost Option for 2024 Model 3

I bet it's more the second factor, because the car warns about having to slow down at certain speeds if there's a risk not to complete the route and stops at SuperChargers are rejected. Regardless of the speed, sure doesn't help (and it's not required) having the instant torque and acceleration...

Discuss: Tesla Adds Acceleration Boost Option for 2024 Model 3

Am I the only one what would pay such amount... not for added acceleration, but to increase the range by depowering the already exaggerated performance of the dual motor LR in chill?

Quick headlight control without stalks Plain and simple: if auto decided that no headlights are required, and you disagreed, you would have to open the Controls settings, not having the "stalk shortcut". We need a headlight shortcut icon to stay always on, no matter what. Now, if lights were...

Well, not much to "dream" about, the value of Juniper (now that we know what to expect, having seen the gigantic gap after Highland started to ship) is certainly somewhere else than just UWB and these incomplete features built around it. Although it was on my top ten wishlist, this just doesn't...

    Software update wishlist

This would be a killer, but I guess it's a security feature. You wouldn't want the trunk/frunk opening if you were inside the car or just nearby and someone else is in the front/rear cameras. Ironically, I experience the opposite, and I hate it: without UWB, whenever I close the trunk, and the...

In addition, or alternatively, it would be great if the steering wheel arrows (Highland, etc) would at least blink, or even alternate amber color if hardware supported it.

Discuss: 2024.38.4 Official Tesla Release Notes

I have no idea. Not having "real" FSD I can't tell if it can turn like I would or if it just stupidly and dangerously tries to keep the center of the lane without anticipation, as it does on mine.

Yes and actually they could also let the arrows blink (if color can't change due to hardware limitations) on the steering wheel.

What's this BS? Intelligent Speed Assist disabled now is constantly displayed whenever the alert is muted (so, always). Been like this since the last updates. We should be able to get rid of this by "acknowledging" the warning, otherwise there is no way to see other real alerts, as the red dot...

Phonecall doesn't end on Tesla screen Already the third time it happens. I notice this especially when I had music prior to the call, and it doesn't resume after. I usually fix it by temporarily disabling bluetooth on the phone (easier than fiddling with the car's menu).

    List of software bugs

Along with the software update wishlist, I thought it would be great sharing the bugs. I start with one already mentioned before: Wrong detection of green semaphore I think this image speaks for itself. Imagine FSD on this. I was in one of the two mid lanes of a 4-lane road (left and right...

Discuss: Tesla Display Alternative: Everything the Tesla OS Should Be [VIDEO]

That's interesting. Tesla should better get on par with these third party solutions, because next is that competitors will integrate them natively in their vehicles, as this clearly highlights where they fall short.

Define key addresses by drawing a perimeter on the map This looks subtle, but it's quite a tedious one. If you rely on the car behaving differently based on addresses (e.g. home, work, favorites) you quickly found out that, unless you really parked the car on or next to the street, most of the...

Automated Valet mode by location And Association of Key Card to Car Valet Mode A scenario drives me crazy. I had to create a "Garage" profile associated with a key card, with disabled phone away lock, because using the Valet profile is not enough to leave my Tesla in a garage near the house...

Exactly. If, to your point, you want the car to behave like a standard car with keys, having the phone key is the only reason which defeats your purpose.

I agree. But afaik locking from inside the vehicle has the same authority as locking from the app. And proximity unlocking, I think, follows the app logic, i.e. cannot be overridden by a lock in the car. Otherwise if you or a kid accidentally pressed the lock from inside on the screen, as the...
