3 updates I would really like

I think this one time feature just got put into the Tesla phone app. Like they're reading minds on this forum!

Discuss: From FSD Beta 12.3 to v13? Musk Signals Major Jump in Tesla's New FSD Update

Call it a ham sandwich. I don't care. Just get it stable enough to distribute wide please :)

Discuss: Exploring Tesla's Next Big Updates: From Auto Wipers to Smart Summon and Beyond

Which version are you on? I feel like the highbeam situation has been so much better for a while now but would have a hard time nailing down which version it got better, certainly 11.4.9. I think.

Discuss: Exploring Tesla's Next Big Updates: From Auto Wipers to Smart Summon and Beyond

My wipers went from coming on for no apparent reason on occasion to not coming on when it is raining and I really think they should be on. Be careful what you ask for! I’m On 24.2.7 now with the new car, think I was on 23.44.14 before with the same behavior.

Discuss: 2023.44.30.25 (FSD Beta v12.3) Release Notes

Can’t wait! Hope this gets to a .1 or 2 quickly and let out to the rest of us.

Discuss: Tesla's FSD Beta 12.2.1 Update is Rolling out to Employees, Hinting at Full Deployment

A couple weeks has gone by with not much news on the v12 front... BRING IT ON please. Not the news, the actual v12. The news too. Hopefully that means Tesla engineers are diligently working to get this version up and running on highways & city driving to the point where they can roll it out...

Discuss: Tesla Says Adaptive Headlight Support Is Coming to the U.S.

I just got a 2024 Model Y LR (Austin Build) and noticed the headlights looked different when I pull into the garage. Well, the LIGHT from the headlights look different. Does this mean I have the headlights that will adapt? Looks like a smart tech, but I’d appreciate if every other car had it...

Discuss: Rivian R2 Specs: The Leak That's Got Tesla's Fanbase Curious

Great! Hopefully the R2 will be their Model 3 ONLY in that it helps the biz go from losing money to making money on each car. I will be impressed if the $47k version is also the 0-60 in 3 seconds with 330 mile rated range. You never know, I just got a 2024 model Y that started around there and...

Discuss: Musk Confirms That Tesla Will Add Apple Watch Support in Future Update

This is good news. In the mean time I'm using siri shortcuts which work great with two exceptions - opening or closing my Y's rear hatch. Sometimes it doesn't open or close fully and almost every time (even when it opens/closes) I get a message that it timed out even though it worked fine. Not...

Discuss: Rimac Validates Tesla Roadster's Ambitious Thruster Goals: A New Hypercar Benchmark?

Can’t wait for worm-hole acceleration and speed. Then we can get there before we leave.

3 updates I would really like

This is a good point, and exactly the kind of thing I use my phone’s reminders for. I’m constantly telling my phone to remind me at a certain time or location to do these kinds of things. I guess there has to be a balance between the right amount of options and too many options but ‘one time...

Discuss: Tesla Set to Unveil Front Bumper Camera and Ambient Lights for Model S/X

Lights and a bumper camera aren’t a huge leap forward, but rest assured you currently drive the longest EPA range X, right?

Discuss: The Road Not Taken: Apple's Missed Chance on Tesla's Electric Dream

I gotta say, this bothers me a bit. With Dyson backing out and Apple backing out it *really* shows how difficult AND impressive Tesla's accomplishments are. It also shows how seemingly impossible self driving tech is. Any 'disruption' at this point will be either - new battery tech that is more...

    Discuss - Version 2023.44.30.9

Traded in my 2020 Y today for a 2024 with hardware 4. It’s on 2023.44.300. Didn’t seem any different than the 44.30 or whatever I had on the 2020. Patiently waiting for v12 :) .

I feel like you are able to do some of those. I have a shortcut to vent windows, I just tell Siri - Vent Andy’s Windows and they pop down. It’s not automatic but That’s half way there!

Discuss: Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous (Performance) Unveiled During Promo Shoot in Spain

Wishful thinking on my part- hope it has a larger capacity battery that increases performance AND range. Even with the same battery tech that’s a fair amount of differences from the LR 3 and I wonder if the price diff will be more than it used to be between the two models.

Discuss: Tesla Targets Sentry Mode Vampire Drain: Upcoming Update to Slash Power Use by 40%

That is probably something different. I think what is happening there is a recalculation of the current charge state, vs actual loss. Seems like there is a 'settling' happening. My P85 did this, so maybe it is something different but I don't think it is real loss. There were times when that car...

Discuss: Tesla FSD Beta v12 Auto Parks, Completes U-Turns, But Removes Traffic-Aware Cruise Control Ability

I’m in between ‘can’t wait for this’ and ‘I’ll wait until it is not a step back from v11’ . Still, good to see v12 in real world situations proving the transition is promising.

Discuss: Tesla Targets Sentry Mode Vampire Drain: Upcoming Update to Slash Power Use by 40%

That's good news. It's a nice feature, having it for less energy expense would be even better.
