Is anyone growing concerned about Musk's increasingly extreme political behavior?

I would be more worried about him having an army of robots than the BS he says or the ones he politically supports. Truth is, he's not fully independent... yet.

    Software update wishlist

Happened something similar to me. Some geniuses enter their car on the opposite side of the parking of a charging stall. They go backwards without looking, only without realizing that meanwhile I had parked the car. I was speaking with a person near my car and we saw it moving with a loud bump.

ETA for charge, too difficult? Why do we have to rely on 3rd party apps to get obvious informations such as estimated time for charge end, instead of / in addition to the time to go? For fast charging it is irrelevant, but on slow charging, when it's about hours, even 24+... This obviously...

Discuss: Tesla’s Cybercab / Robotaxi - Price, FSD Hardware, Release Date, Screen Size and More

They're not small, the size of an average European car. A Smart ForTwo is small, this is longer than a ForFour. So to solve the issue of space and proliferation of cars we just reduce the capacity per car? I mean, it's all about genius, but this leans on the crazy side...

Discuss: Tesla’s Cybercab / Robotaxi - Price, FSD Hardware, Release Date, Screen Size and More

All marvelous, but... why the hell a two seater with such an enormous cargo space, and not a 2nd row of retractable seats? I mean, nice for a couple, but what about families with 2+ kids? Up to 2, multiple cabs, one parent each, but 3+ you leave the kids alone?

Software update 2024.26.7 to 2024.32 LTE issues

Really! So not going to install it, definitely. Anyway, question to Highland owners: I noticed that when I have the windows completely retracted and I open the door, the window goes UP, opposite of what it does when it's fully closed and the door is open (obviously goes down as with all coupes...

Software update 2024.26.7 to 2024.32 LTE issues

In other forums I read that removing the SIM card will indeed stop draining. In essence, we can assume that with the SIM the modem is trying to connect but fails because of whatever. Without the SIM card, we can expect that such attempts would be avoided from the very start. I don't even know...

Software update 2024.26.7 to 2024.32 LTE issues

Ok so definitely not going to install it unless someone from earlier versions than .32 reports no issue.

Purple Streetlights Are Seen As Green Traffic Lights

Have no idea. I read in the past that voice control would do something but the country support denied it.

Purple Streetlights Are Seen As Green Traffic Lights

I was thinking something similar by noticing that very often on the display I see braking lights when there are no lights at all, possibly due to reflections (and, off topic: why don't our cars have the center braking light on the screen rendering but other rendered cars have it even if in...

Software update 2024.26.7 to 2024.32 LTE issues

I too have 2024.32.7 on the download queue. Please let us know also if you've had other 2024.32 versions before AND the LTE bug. Either way, to understand whether it still causes the issue, for those who didn't have it yet, and if it fixes it for those who did.

Discuss: Tesla FSD V12.5.6 Introduces Major Improvements: A Look at All the Changes [Photos]

You're describing a normal day in Italy, not an exception. Limit on highways is 130km/h, it's quite common keeping 140km/h, even when there are speed controls, due to tolerance. Otherwise whatever goes. Used to drive 150km/h pre-Vision, and 160km/h on the BMW (manual really anything above...

    Rear-end trend?

Spotted another M3 just today. "Incidentally", pun intended, all pre-Highland. Also starting to wonder if it might be just that our cars break really hard due to regen plus standard brakes. The second day I had my first M3 my wife drove it for the first time, and we almost smashed into a sudden...

Discuss: Tesla FSD V12.5.6 Introduces Major Improvements: A Look at All the Changes [Photos]

Isn't it kind of creepy reading that an autopilot can be programmed to exceed the speed limit by e.g. 40%? I mean, we do that all day, simply because we're humans, slaves to our instincts. Going beyond the speed limit will save us 5 minutes at best on long journeys, we all know that. But still...

    Bluetooth phone key unreliable.

I agree it's rare but it was quite weird all the times it happened. And makes me a bit uncomfortable, regardless of having alternatives (also because being unprepared in the worst moments can have unforeseeable consequences).

I'm still on 2024.26 🙃 also with "advanced" updates.

Discuss: Tesla Disables 12V Power Sockets and USB Ports While Sentry Mode is Active in Update 2024.32

As above, it should be entirely different. There's no reason why sockets should be connected to Sentry. You might want to keep sockets on and Sentry off. Only, basic decency would suggest giving the option to control the sockets in the same software updated as the long overdue disconnection...

    Bluetooth phone key unreliable.

That's quite weird, seems we don't even have consistent experiences. Once or twice I may have had to "wake" the phone up, and often it's me forgetting to turn on Bluetooth... but I realize it outside the car, not when already inside. This is a whole new level.

    Bluetooth phone key unreliable.

Hey guys, am I the only one having issues with the phone key? It's been happening already a few times since August, probably 2024.26 or .20, can't remember. I open the car, everything seems fine, until I step on the brake... and nothing happens. The first time it happened, I immediately...
