Man, that v12 AI stuff better pan out and the sooner the better. I hope Elon's enthusiasm about this is more accurate than in previous builds! Tesla had been the only real EV game in town for a while but now there are a few others so v12 is the new 'only game' potential wrt EVs.
I suppose the upcoming $25k Tesla could also be an 'only game' segment as I don't think anyone else is in a position to make an EV at that price and survive :) . Exciting times!

Honestly, I think the only way forward for FSD is to go in a radical direction. It seems like the current FSD is getting better in smaller and smaller increments. The main problem I have with it is that it doesn't drive like everyone else on the road, it drives like a computer. That makes it hard to use on today's roads with today's human drivers. Now, if this was the future where all cars were FSD then it would probably work out OK.

So, if they can revamp FSD to be more human-like and less "proper" then I think it will be a great success. The problem will then be FSD breaking the rules, just like humans do (ie. rolling stops).

I worry that it will always be more cautious to a fault.
