Oh good! I’ve been using Tesla Remote App for this with my watch and had mixed results. Hope this works via Siri from my watch, it’s embarrassing and annoying to have to repeat myself.
Yep, works with Siri great. You just need to create the shortcuts if they're outside of the default ones Tesla provides, then you can just say Hey Siri, and the name of the shortcut.

Unfortunately, I still have to use the "unofficial" Shortcuts to roll up the windows in my 2020 MX. I was hoping that these shortcuts would allow window roll up; I don't know what I was thinking.

Just wondering if there is anything in the Tesla app that needs to be enabled for this new feature to work? Both mine and spouses phones have the new Tesla app updated and no new Tesla options appeared in the shortcuts app on the iPhone.

Well, I’m not having luck with opening / closing the trunk using shortcuts. The car lights up and the phone says the trunk is open, but it is not. I’m thinking I may need newer software on the 2020 model Y, it’s on 2023.7.20 . If I use the app like I have been it works fine, but the shortcuts / siri commands say they worked when they did not.

Same for me!

I am running iOS 16.6. And Tesla app 4.24.0 (-1911). Why does this not work?!? very frustrating!

You activate the shortcuts in the Shortcuts app, poke around there and you’ll see Tesla app in there Somewhere. I did it and promptly forgot how but it wasn’t easy. If Tesla app isn’t in the list of apps restart the phone and that’ll get it going.

Yes, that's where it is now, my memory is it didn't populate there until I restarted my phone or something.
You can try this- from that screen go to all shortcuts, hit the + and you'll see at the bottom 'Search for apps and actions' tap in that search bar and it'll pop up. You'll have categories selected, tap 'Apps' and scroll down after Siri, Stocks and whatever other S apps you have should be Tesla. Tap that and you'll see the various actions. That's where I didn't see the Tesla app mentioned until I did the phone restart. HTH!

I did the iPhone restart. No joy.

I think this is the area you described and I see this:

Thank you. The phone restart worked for me. I’m looking forward to the Tesla shortcuts working. Currently the opening of the trunk shortcut doesn’t open the trunk.
