It seems like there have been a couple of weird "why wasn't this caught in testing" things with the CT. Having wheel caps rub on the tires seems like one of those things. Maybe they didn't drive the truck very much with the wheel caps on. Maybe they were constantly taking them on/off (ie. after every drive) to check on things, which affected the wear patterns.

Either way, it's a bad look when something so seemingly simple (auto-wipers anyone?) just doesn't work properly. Then again, I don't think the CT is the first vehicle to leave the factory with "obvious" problems.
