I just want to document something for others based on my experience. I was on 2024.8.9 and also was subscribed to FSD. I do believe the subscription was the reason it took forever to get 2024.14.8. I cancelled the subscription on 5/22 and I eventually received the update on 5/28. Per the article, it says that the update will happen after the subscription period. This was not the case for me. My subscription was scheduled to end on 6/12. When I got the update, I received the email about the free month of FSD and that it would end on July 12. So, it is possible to get the update before the subscription cycle ends. That's just my two cents.
