Wow, that’s not a good deal IMO. $12.99 / month? That’s more than EA and Charge Point (or was that a different one?).
I suppose the argument there is the Tesla SC network is more robust in just about every way except charging rates where it tops off at 250kW vs EA’s 350kW. I suppose not too many cars can take advantage of the 350 but that’s gonna change as time goes on. Right now that monthly fee only gets access to the few that have CCS capabilities which isn’t all of them and won’t be for sure.
Also- I’m curious to see how Tesla will work out the dock blocking or whatever you want to call it when a Bolt or other car is parked in the spot next to the SC spot. That looks potentially annoying.
