It's not a binary reference as your article keeps suggesting friend. Nov 11 11am is when world war 1 ended. Canada and most of Europe acknowledges two minutes of silence at this time to remember our soldiers. Tesla probably released at this time as a nod to veterans as well.

The regular Autopilot is so basic that I'm not even sure there would be a point at upgrading it. I mean it's just an adaptative cruise control with a system that keeps you between lines. But maybe they could do something for the enhanced autopilot, which really needs some love cause actually the 3800€ is wayyyy too expensive for what it is (in Europe at least).

Well yeah, it would be a bit more... Intelligent, but what would it change in the way the base Autopilot behaves ?

Well yeah, it would be a bit more... Intelligent, but what would it change in the way the base Autopilot behaves ?

It might actually work better / or worse. It's an entirely different way of analyzing the scene and determining the control response and of lane keeping or following distances etc.

If they decide to go that path I hope it's going to work (much) better.
Autopilot was really one of the things that I anticipated the most when getting the car and it's so dumb...
Sometimes the car fails to understand the situation, like when i'm overtaking a car on the highway sometimes it doesn't detect the other lanes and it just beeps and correct my trajectory thinking that I'm going out of the road (it happens quite often, day and night).

One big issue I still struggle with is phantom braking (10.69.3.1). It happens at approximately the same location. I go from 65 mph legal limit to 30 mph in just 3 seconds. If anyone was behind me it would be an accident for sure. Apparently this happened in San Francisco recently. This last time I hit the accelerator to get back to speed and the car did not want to respond, it hesitated, sped up a bit then hesitated again. Disengaged at that point. Scary. Hope V11 fixes this.

Once again, FSD is a big letdown; it doesn't look like full FSD will be coming for years. Musk has promised FSD will be good, but he has been wrong often. Musk's interest is in Twitter more than Tesla, and the share price reflected this need for more attention by Musk.

If you don't have fsd why do you care..If you have fsd there was never a firm promised date contract...suing Musk because you didn't get something you wanted at some date in your head is a loser proposition..

Is it weird that the most current build is just dribbling out a a couple % a day? According to the breakdown on this site.

It is also weird that on Teslafi they showed one release of v11 over a week ago and nothing since. But now they are dribbling out v69.25.1
Wonder if they will keep dribbling out 25.1 until everyone has it, or if at some point they will simply resume v11. Makes me wonder if they encountered some real difficult problems with either one or both.

At least I found 69.25.1 to be a much smoother lane keeping, no jerking around curves. Progress
