No, they won't respond. As the owner of a "legacy" vehicle I would welcome more native apps but I don't think Tesla will ever allow CarPlay or Android Auto anywhere near their vehicles.

While I agree with you about Carplay and AA, I think there is a case to be made to add Google Cast or Airplay to the Theater app. It would be nice to be able to cast video to the screen while parked. This wouldn't give Apple or Google control of the infotainment system either.
