There’s a joke about neural link and the board in here somewhere. However, this is no laughing matter. For a court to come to this conclusion about a contract is unusual, right? The board is supposed to be objective and looking out for us as shareholders and the conclusion is that did not happen. That’s my understanding and if that’s a true evaluation then that’s not good for anyone.
My understanding is Elon ‘saved’ Tesla in 2017-18 when ramping up model 3 production by risking a lot of his own fortune, so he should be rewarded if that’s true. There must be a balance though.
Whatever the truth and best balance is- Telsa is still too tightly tied to Elon IMO. I don’t know if it is a good analogy but Apple & Steve Jobs comes to mind. Apple has done okay post Jobs, and did pretty well during Jobs… I feel the same can be true for Tesla if the biz has been developed properly.
