Standard Ride & Handling in Autopilot​

Your vehicle will now automatically transition to Standard Ride & Handling when Autopilot is engaged for a more comfortable drive. This setting is enabled by default. To disable, tap Controls > Dynamics > Use Standard Ride & Handling in Autopilot.

What does this mean?

Edit. Ok got it, it probably relates to the Performance model with active suspensions. Which is the only reason why I regretted purchasing the Long Range. It's so wobbly that sometimes I get nausea. Rolls too much, I preferred the firmer suspensions of the former model. More sporty. Just wished the Performance to have the same range as the LR.

I just received this update last night and I'm hoping it fixed the one thing that has been bugging me for the past 8 months - auto-opening driver door. Each time I enter my garage the drivers door on my legacy MX has been auto-opening and desperately trying to get me to hit it with a stroller, or the lawnmower, a ladder, basically anything and everything. It's funny how one, stupid, little feature (that used to work) can cause this much grief.

On the bright side, at least they fixed the Rainbow Road not displaying properly. I can't tell you how much that improves my daily life. /s

UPDATE: It did NOT fix the auto-opening door issue for me. However, it did seem to add a new "un-pause Spotify 2 minutes into a drive" feature. I don't really care for this new feature.

Mine got dangerously worse with the latest updates. Now if I I'm on autopilot/TACC I can't have the accelerator pressed (you know, trying to catch up with a car after a phantom brake, or overtaking a car that's moving to another lane), otherwise I cannot neither apply NAG torque to the steering wheel nor disable autopilot (!!!)

I am sure they have all sorts of incredible engineers over there, and I'm pretty sure it ain't their fault, as this seems some sort of legal/compliance bullshit gone sideways.

P.S. and today this jewel... went away just after resetting the car, couldn't finish the drive with autopilot/TACC

I just received the 25.8.6 update but haven't applied it yet. We had a bunch of storms last night and I forgot about it, so I'll try applying it tonight. We'll see how it goes. Maybe it fixes my auto-opening door problem.

2025.8.4 installed without problems on my Intel M3. Maybe it only affects ryzen or something.

Same here, however I mentioned .6 not .4.
Anyway, it restarted today, from scratch. Not that there is anything worth waiting for, at least good to know I'm not lagging behind.

2025.8.6 installed on my 2020 MX (Intel) without any problems. Maybe it's a problem with the newer models.

I'm just now getting 2025.8.6 on my '24 Y LR.
