2024.33.35 with FSD v12.5.6.3 on HW4 - I though I had a HW3 car...

UPDATE - I'm sorry (and glad for me) to say that I was wrong about the car being HW3. I had read somewhere that if the software page indicated it had a "full self driving" processor that it was HW3. After a day or two with the new FW and teslafi showing now HW3 cars being updated I did some more research. my cameras have red lenses which I understand is the marker for HW4. Sorry for the confusion

My 2023 MY with HW3 HW4 just updated from 2024.33.5 FSD 12.5.4.2 to 33.35 with FSD 12.5.6.3 and the change is dramatic. notateslaapp indicates that this version is HW4 only but that seems to have changed. It accelerates to its preferred speed rather than overshoot and decelerate. This should make for happier drivers in the cars behind me. lane changes are smoother and short highway ride was quite comfortable. The only intervention needed was when FSD chose and committed to the southbound on ramp lane while navigation knew we should be headed north. I even tried smart summon with my wife still in the car

Nice to see a solid update for the HW3 vehicles. This version will make for less explaining/excuses when taking someone new to the car for a ride.

Sounds great! Especially that its doing well on HW3. That gives me hope that when those features arrive in Europe, they at least have the potential to work in a proper way
