Just got 2024.20.1 but no adaptive headlines in settings on my Mega Austin 2023 MYLR?!?!

I had a 2019 RDX that illuminated one of the 7 LEDs in each headlight in a turn for its adaptive headlight function. The effect was unnoticeable to me. I have a 2019 MX-5 Miata with headlights that swivel in a turn - the result is very noticeable and very effective.

Just got 2024.20.1 but no adaptive headlines in settings on my Mega Austin 2023 MYLR?!?!

My 2023 Model Y Long Range built in Austin in April 2023 does NOT have matrix headlights. At that time, Fremont was using them in the Model Y Long Range, but Austin was not. According to information submitted to the IIHS by Tesla, only the 2023 Model Y Performance trim was intended to have...

Just got 2024.20.1 but no adaptive headlines in settings on my Mega Austin 2023 MYLR?!?!

An Austin-built 2023 Model Y Long Range does not have adaptive headlights. They are not adaptive and do not swivel sideways. The only movement they have is vertically to manually adjust for height.

Discuss: You Can Now Increase Tesla Auto Wipers Sensitivity and Autopark Can Park in Smaller Spaces

“Pressing the wiper button while the wipers are set to Auto temporarily increases the sensitivity of the wipers.” Ugh. That is not my biggest problem. My biggest problem is the wipers scraping and smearing a dry windshield when it is not raining. They also need a way to decrease sensitivity...

Discuss: Tesla Auto Wipers: Why They Don't Work and Why There Isn't an Easy Fix

"Full manual control" to me would be that when I turn the wipers off they stay off until I decide to turn them back on. As it is now, the wipers temporarily revert to auto every time TACC/AS/FSD is engaged and I will almost always get dry wipes until or unless I override them and turn them back...

Discuss: Tesla Gets 75 New Games - Titles Such as Cut the Rope Arrive Thanks to YouTube Playables

I am surprised that Tesla puts as much effort as they do into in-vehicle gaming. Is this something that is actually important to Tesla owners? Seems like things like auto wipers that actually work...or maybe...oh...full self-driving should be priorities over in-car gaming. I occasionally play...

Discuss: Change your Tesla’s Color and Wheels With Tesla's Colorizer Feature

While waiting in my vehicle with the A/C on and a TV show streaming before a fireworks show began last year, a lady came up to my window and asked if it would be okay if her son sat inside for a minute. She said he was fascinated by Teslas and that was all he talked about. Teslas are still a...

    Disappearing Power Meter

I do not see any use for the power meter. For me, it is an unnecessary clutter. I would prefer the ability to turn it off.

Discuss: Tesla Auto Wipers: Why They Don't Work and Why There Isn't an Easy Fix

Same here. In April 2023, I took delivery of a new Model Y that came with 2022.x software. For ten months before I updated from 2023.44.30.8 to 2024.2.2.1, the auto wipers worked 99.9% as well as my other vehicles with dedicated rain sensors. I did not experience the poor performance that I...

Discuss: Tesla 'Spring Update' Update Adds Ability to View Cabin Filter Health

I disagree. I believe Tesla is using blower motor current and a software model of the system to calculate pressure drop and estimate filter health. If they were using time and blower speed, my Model Y's cabin filter should be at less than 107% health after 20,000 miles. The HEPA filter is at...
