Discuss: Everything Tesla Announced During Its Earnings Call - Robotaxi Details, HW3 Support, FSD and More

It's big news about the possibility of getting an upgrade to HW4 computer (IF you purchased FSD). That said, I find myself to be confused: Tesla Confirms Hardware 3 is Robotaxi Ready - October 16 https://www.notateslaapp.com/news/2320/tesla-confirms-hardware-3-is-robotaxi-ready "Lars Moravy...

Discuss: Tesla Confirms Hardware 3 is Robotaxi Ready

I have a very hard time believing that HW3 is Robotaxi Ready. That would indicate an FSD Unsupervised level of ability. FSD Supervised on HW3 seems to be less than ready for normal city driving; well, normal highway driving as well. Even with a human driver it's very dicey. Frankly, I'm...

Discuss: FSD v12.5.4.1 (Update 2024.32.10) Release Notes

I wonder how many of the issues I've experienced are due to the HW. I'm driving a HW3 Model Y (March 2023). Is it possible that Tesla screwed up and now we'll find that FSD won't ever work "properly" (coherently and smoothly) with the v12 FSD system on HW3?

Discuss: FSD v12.5.4.1 (Update 2024.32.10) Release Notes

It looks like there are some HW4 cars getting the release, maybe these hadn't yet been upgraded from FSD 12.3.6. But, yeah, most of the vehicles being upgraded with this release are HW3.

Discuss: FSD v12.5.4.1 (Update 2024.32.10) Release Notes

I have to say that I'm very surprised that Tesla would push out 2024.32.10 (with 12.5.4.1) as widely as they have. This may be the worst example of FSD that I've seen. Inability to drive "rationally" when around other vehicles and phantom braking are this release's core competencies.

Discuss: Tesla FSD V12.5.5 Adds End-to-End Highway Stack; Tesla Teases Upcoming Features

Has anyone heard anything from Tesla about a fully featured/functional FSD being generally available for HW3 computers?

Discuss: Tesla Software Update Preference: Standard Vs Advanced [Musk Confirms Tesla Uses It]

Just as a data point, today I finally got 2024.26.7 sent to my vehicle; indications are about 53% to 54% of the Model Y fleet have already received this update as 2024.26.8 starts rolling out.

Discuss: Tesla Software Update Preference: Standard Vs Advanced [Musk Confirms Tesla Uses It]

I have to agree with @EVSteveA on this. I've had "Advanced" set since the day I took delivery of the vehicle. I've never received an update that was early. Generally, I seem to receive a release when between 30% and 50% of my representative fleet (2023 MYLR USA) has already received the release.
