Reserve trunk opening on comeback I just realized that UWB trunk/frunk opening is nice but... not so nice. It would be more effective if we could "reserve" that the trunk/frunk open when the mobile is again connected to the car ("on comeback"). This could be done either: - via voice command "hey...

Highland startup Hard to tell if this is a bugfixing or a "new" feature... fixing a bug. No, hell no, this is a bugfix. I just wrote "I think Commander could fix something that drivers me crazy about the Highland." to Enhance. Pre-highland, I would press the brake, buckle up, set the D/R gear...

Discuss: Tesla’s New Deceleration Option: Regen Now Applies When Brake Pedal is Pressed

That's interesting stuff to read indeed. However: Regen braking is not only good for range, most important it actually helps with safety since the car instantly decelerates while the driver moves their foot from accelerator to the brake pedal, gaining precious time and essentially reducing the...

Discuss: Tesla Awaits Regulatory Green Light for FSD in Europe

Let's see if they come up with subscriptions. For owners, let alone leasers and even less long term renters, it'd be a little off parting with 7.5k - furthermore for something half-baked.

This is the point. Air recirculation isn't a feature you activate a couple of times a year, such as a defroster. Albeit a defroster is more of a security feature than anything, so good having it redundant all over the place.

Re-read. I listed a few random functions that are available as 1-st level dashboard shortcuts on our Teslas and simply tried to make you reason that their presence is of equal importance as air recirculation, even just for a parallel with a standard car dashboard. Which makes your comment about...

If that was supposed to be funny, you failed miserably. It just comes out as dumb. Why then having first-level shortcuts for mirrors? Seat heating? Apps opening? You could use voice for all of them. Doesn't make sense as a solution. First, voice commands are meant to be aids, second they don't...

Air recirculation shortcut and improved AUTO operation Seems so obvious. Why do we alhave all sorts of shortcuts but not air recirculation? The air quality detection isn't always immediate, so manual intervention is required.

Discuss: Will Tesla's Unsupervised FSD Require a Front Bumper Camera? [Opinion]

FSD isn't worth a new vehicle, full stop. That said, the question is rethorical. A front bumper was required from the very start, especially since they removed USSs. They eventually caught up, but being stubborn for all these years just proved them (him) wrong. Can't wait for USSs to be back...

Discuss: Tesla Expected to Add Turn Signal Stalk Back to Model 3

That's okay, but then they need to be held accountable about the "guinea pigs", especially those who were unaware. We, as previous owners, were given a heads-up, but imagine first-time owners. Having been *forced* to show a bit of mental sanity proves that they were wrong and that they should...

Discuss: Tesla Cybertruck Earns 5-Star Safety Rating in NHTSA Crash Tests

How ridiculous. If it doesn't meet EU regulations it's not street-worthy. Unless someone believe that US citizens are made of titanium, the reason why it's not approved in the EU is for pedestrian protection. Who cares if the occupants are unharmed and because of its silly shape everyone around...

They should retrofit also all other Highlands for free. Most of them probably didn't even know what they ordered with regards to stalks.

Discuss: Tesla Executives Confirm Robotaxi on Track for June

The more I see the Robotaxi, the more I think that it's huge for a 2-seater. It's probably larger than my Z4. Looks like a use case for the US only.
