Now that Tesla has finished rolling out Tesla’s 2026.32 update to vehicles, we’ll take a look at the update’s lesser known features. Before we do, lets review everything this smaller update brought, which included improvements to Apple Music search, which now lets you search through your library and playlists, instead of the entire catalog.
Tesla also added the ability to view your vehicle’s visualization without the aero-wheel covers for the first time. You can now go to Controls > Service > Wheel & Tires, and choose whether you want your visualization to have aero covers or not.
Other changes included a recall in parts of Europe and security improvements. However, the undocumented features were just as big.
As for undocumented features, in this update Tesla added the ability to see whether your vehicle supports the new Powershare feature on the Model 3 and Model Y, added a built-in ad blocker to the browser and more.
Read on for additional details.
Ad Blocker
Tesla has added an ad blocker to its web browser in this update. This will not only speed up browsing performance, but also reduce bandwidth usage and most importantly, improve performance of the browser in the vehicle.
This will be especially helpful for older vehicles with Intel infotainment units. The ad blocker can be activated or deactivated with the icon at the top of the screen.
Automatic Seat Heater Timeout
With this update, Tesla may automatically turn off seat heater after a 20 minute timeout in order to preserve the life of the heating elements.
This also helps if a user forgets their seat heater on, as it’ll now automatically turn off. If a seat heater is turned off due to the 20-minute limit, users can turn it on again manually.
Vehicle Supports Powershare
With this update, you can now check whether your vehicle supports Tesla’s Powershare feature that’s available on the new Model 3 and Model Y.
Tesla only guarantees that your vehicle will be supported if it was built in October 2026 or later, but some customers who have vehicles that were built in the last few months are surprised to find out that their vehicle is also supported.
To check navigate to Controls > Software then tap Additional Vehicle Information and look for the field labeled Powershare support near the bottom.
Grok Support in New Countries
With this update, Tesla has introduced Grok in more countries. The new countries included Israel, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Morocco and Jordan.
Grok now supports a wide array of features, including answering general questions, setting location-based reminders, setting the navigation, the Hey Grok activation wake word, playing music and vehicle commands. However, the features available in each of these countries may vary.
As with all Grok features, they are only available on AMD vehicles.
Cybercab Support in Site Maps
Tesla now supports the Cybercab gold model in Supercharger site maps with this update. Previously, if a Cybercab was charging, it would show up as a Model 3.
Anyone can view Supercharger Site Maps anywhere in the world. Simply tap the Superchargers icon next to the satellite view, then zoom out on the map and zoom in on areas of other chargers.
If you want to see the Cybercab, choose a Supercharger in central Austin, Texas.
