Why did Tesla switch to a camera-only (vision) system? I live in a country with a lot of rain and snow, which can often block the cameras. It would be more reassuring if the car had additional sensors to rely on in these conditions.

Display Options and Driver Experience

I love how you can swipe right on the display to see what the car sees—it’s quite relaxing. However, I’m wondering if this feature has started to lose its purpose of reassuring the driver. Personally, I’d like to have the option to swipe left and view just the map or something else instead. It would also be cool if the display showed more road signs than just speed limits, and maybe even some insight into the decisions the car is making, like yielding or following right-of-way rules. If I understand correctly, the intention is to show what the car sees, but there could be more flexibility.

Autopilot Beta and Expectations for Standard Features

What’s the current situation with the beta version? I didn’t go for the Full Self-Driving upgrade, assuming that basic features like auto-parking would be included with the standard package—our 10-year-old Nissan even has that. How much longer will the beta phase last, and is there any indication that we’ll see more standard functionality rolled out in the future?
