Will Tesla's Unsupervised FSD Require a Front Bumper Camera? [Opinion]

Well, i guess we will not know what is necessary for full Unsupervised FSD until its released - they promised many times before that this will be the final things you need for FSD but then they released Hardware Generation after Generation I will now wait until its fully released and then consider if its worth a new vehicle or not

FSD isn't worth a new vehicle, full stop.

That said, the question is rethorical.
A front bumper was required from the very start, especially since they removed USSs. They eventually caught up, but being stubborn for all these years just proved them (him) wrong. Can't wait for USSs to be back (oh wait, he needs to train the model for the absence of atmosphere!)


Most important, floodlights. It isn't a coincidence that both the CyberTruck and the Y came with it. A bumper camera isn't any good for FSD if there's no light right in the center, considering they've given up on radar, USS, etc.

If USS comes back, i would still have it equipped, maybe they will get activated again in the future. For Park Assists they are still active for now
