That function to avoid resting on a curb is going to be appreciated! I know of one model S owner that had his car sit down on a parking spot curb while parked. He was not happy about the noises and scraping that happened when he backed out of that spot. Maybe it's just me but the image of the truck leveling itself while attempting to jack a corner up is comical. I guess it is potentially dangerous, good to have it addressed.
