Lets first see if Tesla is able to solve unsupervised autonomy this year - thats what it all comes down to for letting vehicles drive without anyone inside on public roads :) I wonder what happens first, unsupervised FSD or FSD for Europe :D

It's unlikely that they want "a car that drives itself to your home—straight from the factor". It would be just plain stupid
.. doesn't scale, not all models are produced in every factory, and factories aren't everywhere. Plus all the correct considerations about charging - and very US-centric thinking.

What could work is indeed a car that, once being delivered to the delivery lot, drives itself "home". It would still be the closest to a make-to-order process, so that the production "apparently" follows the purchase. Which, given how standardized at Teslas nowadays compared to insanely customized other cars, is not even necessary.
