Not sure this is very true as I have advanced set and well down the pecking order for release

I have to agree with @EVSteveA on this.

I've had "Advanced" set since the day I took delivery of the vehicle. I've never received an update that was early. Generally, I seem to receive a release when between 30% and 50% of my representative fleet (2023 MYLR USA) has already received the release.

Just as a data point, today I finally got 2024.26.7 sent to my vehicle; indications are about 53% to 54% of the Model Y fleet have already received this update as 2024.26.8 starts rolling out.
