Tesla Introducing Virtual Queues for Superchargers: Here’s How It Could Work

Interesting. In my time of Tesla Ownership, i never got to such a busy supercharger that i had to wait for getting a charge. But i can imagine that on very crowded places this can occur.

Theres some questions that arise from this queue idea. What if a vehicle is so low on battery that it will die in the waiting process (as StandBy/Climate also eats some battery), do they get priority in order to not have them towed in a already busy road/queue? What if you are the next one in line but you can't get to your stall physically because all the roads are blocked with waiting vehicles who enrolled in the queue later than you? Some roads are narrow and having multiple vehicles move out of the way for you to get to your stall is difficult and time consuming, assuming every driver is polite and wants to give way to you. It also can happen that a driver is stubborn and does not want you to get in front of you because he is closer to the SC than you.

Some things have to be considered here and i am eager to see how Tesla will handle this
