Has anyone seen confirmation that this is just removing the "assertive" mode that was intentionally added to allow FSD beta to behave more like human drivers (in California)? The listed "defects" seem to align with those features, and the recall notes that they may deviate from norms or local laws. That seems very different than correcting "baked in" failures that stem from training data. It's the drivers' responsibility to ensure the car conforms; don't turn it on if it's not appropriate.

Sadly, there are always people that will not follow the rules and agreements to spoil updates etc for all others.
