Hmm. This seems like a good thing, but confusing. I'm glad there is a FSD version on the 'latest' branch of the car's software. Or firmware. Or both. But HW 3 cars are NOT getting the latest FSD version? I'm hoping this straightens out soon like an arrow leaving a bow string. Or my understanding increases!

HW3 seems to never be getting to the same base version as HW4 as it has reached its computing limits. In another article, it was stated that the HW4 FSD Model is too big for the HW3 Computer to handle, so they made a "shrinked" Version of FSD for those vehicles. Cant imagine that they can reintegrate HW3 Computers again once seperated. I think its all about the retrofit that Tesla is going to offer for the HW3 Verhicles.

Well, I just updated to 2025.2.8 last night. Here's hoping that it fixes the problem of the auto-open door ignoring the Home location.

Don't know if this will help but after my GF's new 3 got this build her car started walk away locking at home and also DIDN'T lock when parked at the gym. I deleted and re-entered our home addy and did a reboot. I saw in a TMC forum someone had a similar issue a few years ago so I went and made sure *all* the profiles, hers, mine and easy entry, all had the exclude home for auto lock.
Something in that mix fixed it.
She was changing lock sounds before this happened and I wonder if she didn't toggle that option by accident while scrolling the locks page up to get to the sounds...
