Ok cool, Tesla wants developers to focus on streaming data, but here the thing…if Tesla doesn’t want developers focusing on stuff like charging history or exact trip details, maybe they should actually provide that data themselves. And I’m not talking vague summaries. I mean the real details like kilowatts used, exact mileage, trip breakdowns, all of it.

For probably most of us, this might not matter, but if you’re running a business, doing a Detailed analysis, or just like knowing the specifics about the car, this shift makes things way harder (and more expensive). Developers have been filling this gap for years, and now Tesla’s basically saying, “Don’t worry about that,” without stepping up to fill the gap themselves.

Honestly, it feels like Tesla’s never liked developers because they can’t control every little thing they do. This just feels like their way of saying, “We’re done with you.” Any other opinions or thoughts?
