New Device Adds Vehicle-to-Load Capabilities to Tesla Vehicles

Pretty cool tech. I hope Tesla doesn't do a FW update that kills this device, unless it is truly unsafe or something. Can't see that kind of draw being bad for the battery.
Since the power draw is kinda limited I could see this being used to charge a powerwall or other home battery during an outage. That way you could draw more peak power and charge during low usage helping the home battery to last longer if needed.

I strongly suspect Tesla will disable these devices for two reasons:

• They are inherently unsafe.
• Tesla's warranty clearly states the vehicles are not to be used as stationary power sources.

I would really like to have a device like this. After some users get the first products, we will se if its unsafe or not or if Tesla cancels it with an update. I hope this works and Tesla allows it
