Is it me? AITA? But shouldn't 'super cruise' be the autonomous suite and 'cruise' be the ADAS? That doesn't matter.
Interesting to see someone quitting the robotaxi game saying Tesla has the right strategy. Just think about how much money was spent by GM with very little return. Is that HD mapping data useful enough to be sold?
I can't see any other manufacturers licensing a system until it is finished. Also, I don't know when a system is 'finished' - it will always improve no doubt. Of course the longer they wait the more it will cost, just like it has for us.
As for v13- we've heard the 'turning point' or 'game changer' thing before. Once it's out for a month or two we will no doubt be complaining about some minor thing just like every version before. That said- I am happy to get it and find something to be annoyed about
