Good deal, it is a nice feature on my Y.
I feel like the car knows its footprint better than it appears by the behavior. That is- it could prolly park in one try without re-orienting as it backs into a spot. Right now I feel the computer is super cautious, maybe to let US get used to it before it they allow the car to get closer to curbs and such.
