Indeed. I found a great feature called Autopilot Penalty Prevention. Turns off FSD (or Autopilot) when you exceed 85mph, and re-engages it as soon as your speed drops. Otherwise you have to park to re-engage FSD.

FSD needs some 'local learning'. Let's say within 5 miles of your house, FSD picks up more details on how you want to drive there - which lanes to get in, perhaps which turns you make, how fast/slow you go and where you slow down, potholes to avoid, how to get through your community gate, and...

Here's an obvious one. Tesla, don't cover one pop-up window with another! Spread them out. This one happens to me a lot, but there are other combinations. I'm leaving my gated community, and I'm navigating to, say Walmart. That gives me a list of destinations to choose from. BUT, as I'm...

Discuss: Tesla Releases FSD V13.2.1 - What's New

I have found a few flaws between flawless drives. Certainly doesn't need nearly the interventions as 12.x. But, like others, I've seen this: 1. red hands warning to takeover immediately when the car turned into the setting sun in a parking lot. I was very confused as the car had mastered...

Discuss: FSD v13.2.1 (Update 2024.39.15) Release Notes

Today I went from north Phoenix to Flagstaff (Marriott superchargers), then picked up my daughter and visited Bearizona. Totally forgot to check the new SC site in Williams. FSD 13.2.1 - boy, this is the best thing since sliced bread! I love this version. Basically went from an intervention...

Discuss: FSD v13.2.1 (Update 2024.39.15) Release Notes

I got 13.2.1 tonight. 2023 MYP. I took it on a couple of test loops, and boy, it is smooth! Accelerates like the car just starts rolling downhill. Incredibly delicate throttle control. Braking much smoother too. Other cars will beat you off the line now, FSD don't care. It also somehow...

I've thought about the knob. Looks like a well-designed piece of kit. I have 6 buttons, though only installed 2. (I couldn't think of things I really needed a button for, once I got used to voice commands). One new Commander capability that happily surprised me was Autopilot Penalty...

    FSD 13.2 videos

I also think that 13.2 was a tiny bit rushed to make the Thanksgiving prediction, and it may be that it was released in a much more limited manner than other .2 releases to stay within normal testing guidelines. I'm hoping that at least HW4 vehicles get a version of 13 with the holiday update.

    FSD 13.2 videos

I suspect Tesla is going through their usual, planned testing regimen with 13.2, and it will be 13.3 when it releases more widely. I'm also thinking Tesla wants to add those recently-announced end-of-drive options for parking to make ver 13 more feature-complete. Personally, I'm hoping Tesla...

I see that FSD can now honk. It would probably good if it could also flash the high beams, and probably also should do that each time it honks.

I have FSD 12.5.6.3, and it has Chill, Standard and Hurry modes on the highway. If you left-push the right scroll wheel, you go down in speed - hurry to standard, or standard to chill. Right-push the scroll wheel to go faster. I wish the directions were reversed. The way these speed profiles...

    2024.33.25. FSD 12.5.6.1

I got 12.5.6.3 yesterday, and it's a lot better. Not just the highway part, which in itself is great, but the city/streets part too. I just wrote this in Teslamotorsclub...

Improve ('fix') turn signal indicator. Is it just me, or is it more difficult than it needs to be to see which direction the arrow is pointing? When the turn signal view box comes up with the little green arrow next to it, I can't easily tell if it's pointing left or right. The camera view...

Discuss: FSD v12.5.4.1 (Update 2024.32.10) Release Notes

I'm getting happier with FSD 12.5.4.1 the more I use it. It's different, which always leads to a learning curve. I use it in the hope that it is safer than me driving, which it should be considering how slow it tends to go. The first test drive I had, the car looked like it was going to run a...

North Phoenix-area FSD testers, try this?

I've had an odd issue with FSD (12.5.4.1) that has now repeated itself - trying to run a red light at a particular spot. I'm pointing this out in case someone else can verify this. Here's what happens. First, I'm going southbound on Norterra Parkway approaching Dixeleta. This is on the...

Received "Try FSD (Supervised) 12.3.6" message today. Anyone else?

I'm already subscribed. When the free trial went out last April, I noticed that my monthly subscription renewal date had jumped a month, giving me a free month. At least so far, nothing different there this time. My next renewal date is still Nov 7. I'm hoping to see that slip to Dec 7.

This one is hard to describe, but seems a bug in Tesla's FSD speed control. I go on a freeway where everyone goes 80mph steadily. However, the speed limit drops to 65 from 75 in a couple of places. When I get to the 65mph zone, I'm going 80, by overriding my normal '10 over'. That is, when I...
