Your article forgets the two weeks or so in March of 2019 when Elon Musk announced on Twitter that he was dropping the $4,000 price for FSD to $2,000, before tweeting that was a mistake and yanking it back up to $4,000. Those of us that purchased FSD then truly got the bargain price.
