Tesla FSD V12.5 Now Supports Additional Models; Hardware 3 Vehicles Still Waiting

FSD V12.5 is for HW4/AI4 Model Y's only for now, as Tesla works to optimize the code. Hardware 4 is being renamed to AI4.

I feel cheated buying a 2024/April Model Y Long Range/Berlin having HW3.

I've complained, but Tesla says that HW4 only went into production in May and Sales says that they don't know which HW the cars they sell comes with.

If anyone has a Model Y with HW4 earlier than April 2024 I would be greatful to know.

I purchased brand new last year and to know that just around the corner FSD for HW3 may be technically obsolete/not supported, would not look good for Tesla.

Let’s hope that FSD updates will continue for HW3 for at least the average car ownership (8-10 years) or at a minimum (4-7 years.)
