Discuss: Tesla FSD Vehicles To Receive Latest Features With Update 2025.2.8

Well, I just updated to 2025.2.8 last night. Here's hoping that it fixes the problem of the auto-open door ignoring the Home location. 🤞

Discuss: Tesla’s NACS Charging Standard Receives MotorTrend Best Tech Award

My understanding is that Europe has a lot of 3 phase power. The NACS connector was designed around single phase power and might require major changes to support other systems.

    Software update wishlist

I actually just used "Turn on rear defroster" the other day. It was freezing cold out side and I had just got in the car and was navigating a tight parking lot and didn't have a lot of time or attention to spare. The voice command worked wonderfully and helped me out quite a bit. To be...

    Software update wishlist

Oh, you changed it to 2025.2. I originally thought you were making a statement that this type of feature wouldn't be out until 2525.

Discuss: Tesla VP Confirms Model S & Model X Refresh Later This Year

I really do love my 2020 MX but it feels like a 2015 Tesla. As much as loath the leadership at Tesla right now, the prospect of a 48v, fast charging, proportional steering, better suspension, updated lighting, front camera having MX is really exciting. I almost really, really want to buy one!

Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.4 / FSD v13.2.8 (Update 2024.45.32.20) Release Notes

Got this update last night as a complete surprise. It's the 3rd update in 2 weeks. I wonder what this one fixes. 🤔

Discuss: Tesla Expected to Add Turn Signal Stalk Back to Model 3

I like when companies test the waters and tries new things. I like it even better when they realize that it's not working and revert the change. Good on Tesla for realizing that people need physical turn signals.

Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.3 / FSD v13.2.7 (Update 2024.45.32.15) Release Notes

That perfectly describes my experience with v12.x, specifically v12.5.x. It feels like a teenager controlling the car and constantly tweaking the accelerator. Or maybe an elderly driver that can't quite keep their foot steady on the pedal. 🤢

Discuss: Tesla Intel Atom (MCU 2) and AMD Ryzen (MCU 3): Feature Differences and How to Tell What You Have

I think the timeline on the MCU3 is a bit off. The article shows that MCU3 wasn't available until 2021 but I distinctly remember my mid 2020 MY having an AMD Ryzen processor.

Are you noticing music (Spotify) pausing in the middle of songs?

I've noticed for the past couple of updates that my music is pausing, sometimes several times, during a song. It's just a very short pause (500ms?) but it's very annoying. At first I thought it may be something with Spotify or a network connection problem, but it's been happening for several...

Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.3 / FSD v13.2.7 (Update 2024.45.32.15) Release Notes

After quite a while at 2024.44.25.2 my MX updated to 2024.45.32.10 early last week. I was happy because my wife and I were going on a mini-vacation and I wanted to try out FSD v12.6. While traveling my car downloaded 2024.45.32.15, which I thought was weird since I just updated 2 days prior...

Just got new tires, and a cracked windshield.

Actually, everything turned out really well; much better than expected and I'll happily do business with Discount Tire again. Like I said in my original post, the manager didn't give me any problem and reported to corporate the issue immediately. We played phone tag a couple of times but when...

Discuss: Musk Confirms Tesla Will Upgrade HW3 Vehicles for Free - If You Bought FSD

That's actually a pretty good point. How old does a car have to be to stop getting updates. In the past, your car stopped getting (manufacturer) updates as soon as you drove it off the lot. Tesla introduced the concept of continuous updates10+ years ago. I think we can all agree that a 2...

Discuss: Tesla FSD v12.6.3 / FSD v13.2.6 (Update 2024.45.32.10) Release Notes

I'm still on 2024.44.25.2 from early December 2024 and am eager to get an update. Anything has got to be better than the trash that is v12.5. Hell, I would take a "downgrade" to v12.4 over what I have now.

Discuss: Future Tesla Vehicles to Feature Bi-Directional Charging, 48V & 800V Architectures, Steer-by-Wire, and More

For me, the Cybertruck was mostly a swing and a miss. However, the technical aspects of it are pretty solid and I'm looking forward to future Tesla vehicles incorporating them. 48v is HUGE and I can't imagine that other manufactures would not upgrade their cars, even ICE vehicles. 800v is not...
