Discuss: Tesla Robotaxis to Get FSD V15, Start 24/7 Rides Next Month

You might be right, but then that would mean that the only V15 robotaxis being tested are in the California Bay Area. I just don't think they would restrict themselves to just one region because laws, traffic, and a whole bunch of other things are different from one geofenced area to another.

Discuss: Tesla FSD v14.3.9 Release Notes (Update 2026.27.6)

I think you are remembering correctly about the hazard lights while in motion. To my understanding, it is actually illegal in most states, but it isn't something that is regularly enforced. Some states do allow it, but only under certain circumstances. The US has some really weird traffic laws.

Discuss: Tesla Robotaxis to Get FSD V15, Start 24/7 Rides Next Month

So if what this article is saying is accurate, then FSD V15 hasn't been on all Robotaxi vehicles and is instead likely on a select few? That is an odd way to do it, but I suppose it makes sense since they have full control and monitoring over these cars. My question is still why they are using...

Discuss: Tesla AI Chief Talks About What's Coming in FSD V15

It's funny that I'm seeing this article today because I literally had FSD save me from a side collision when traffic was stopped and I was in a turning lane. Since I am in a Model 3 and it sits low relative to the SUVs and pickup trucks that were stopped, I didn't see the car at all. However...

Discuss: Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes Near Lot Full of Tesla Cybercabs

I actually was on my way home on the highway near the airport when it happened. My family and I thought the plane was trying to take off again, and then, all of a sudden, we heard a boom and saw smoke start to billow up. It was wild to see in person, and just today I went by there again and...

Discuss: Tesla's New 'Preferred Routes' Doesn't Require the Summer Update

I've actually noticed that this happens to me when the car has poor cellular reception. There isn't really a way to fix it other than using a mobile hotspot. I guess if it can't get good updated information via the internet then it starts taking weird routes that you normally don't take. I've...

Discuss: Tesla FSD v14.3.9 Release Notes (Update 2026.27.5)

If the feature works as well as I hope it does, I really don't see why they should be locking it behind a subscription. You can certainly make the argument that other car makers do the same thing, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Either way, if this is going to be a thing, there is...

Discuss: Tesla Service Centers to Start Using Some Non-OEM Parts

On the surface, this looks like a good thing. However, I am worried about the whole warranty coverage issue. I'm guessing that the part's own manufacturer warranty would still cover defective parts and similar issues, but if it impacts warranty coverage on other parts of the car, then that is...

Discuss: Tesla to Offer Robotaxis During Service Instead of Loaners

This sounds like a great alternative, but they should also make sure to give those who receive this service priority when calling a Robotaxi. It would be really bad if you get a Robotaxi to pick you up but then have to wait an extended period of time to call another one.

Discuss: Tesla Updates App to 4.60.5: Toggle Between Wheel Covers On/Off, Robotaxi Instead of Tesla Loaner

I honestly can't wait for the day when I can just send my car off to a service center on its own and then either have a Robotaxi pick me up or a loaner show up at my home.

Discuss: Tesla Cybercab Specs: Supermanifold V3, No Rare Earth Magnets & More

Wow, that is wildly efficient! The 293 miles of range with a battery that is half the size of that in a typical Model 3 LR or Model Y LR is truly an impressive achievement. And the fact that they also made sure to account for longevity in the harsh conditions and DC fast‑charging cycles it will...

Discuss: Tesla FSD v14.3.9 Release Notes (Update 2026.27.5)

This is a cool new feature, but I wish they could show a demonstration of it in action and how it will work. Likewise, I really hope this update finally includes pothole avoidance.

How does Rivian's mobile app compare to Tesla's?

Bummer, sorry for your loss. At least you managed to get enough from the insurance to replace it. I've heard many people don't get as lucky, especially when the other driver who hit you is uninsured or underinsured.

Discuss: NHTSA Launches Probe Into Tesla Cybercab as Public Rides Begin

This is normal procedure when a company releases a product that they have self‑certified. Nothing wrong with it.

Discuss: Tesla FSD 14.3.9 Coming Soon; Will Include New 'Automatic Collision Evasion' Feature

I am honestly hoping that they will really start to focus on end‑of‑drive scenarios much more. Recently, with FSD 14.3.8, I feel that I've had to intervene much more due to parking‑lot behavior and navigation issues when entering certain places. I've also noticed that it seems to ignore...
